Goldberg returns to WWE on Raw and accepts Brock Lesnar's challenge

Bill Goldberg stepped foot in a WWE ring after 12 years, the former WCW heavyweight champion returned to the squared circle live Monday night on Raw.

The fans let him know that they were happy to see him again. He was serenaded with his name -- "Gold-berg! Gold-berg!" -- as he walked down to the ring. Before he could even speak, fans began chanting "holy shit" and "this is awesome."

Then Goldberg took the mic and droned on about promoting the new WWE 2K17 video game and how he was thrilled to be back in front of his fans.

Goldberg accepted the challenge laid down by Paul Heyman last week on Raw for one more match against the man who Goldberg beat in his final WWE show at WrestleMania XX , 12 years ago.

Goldberg said, "'Maybe There's one more ass-kicking left in me.' 'Maybe There's one bad-ass spear left in me.' 'Maybe There's one last devastating jackhammer left in me and That's for you Brock Lesnar, not only does that mean that you're next ... but it means, Brock Lesnar, you're last!'".

The crowd popped big-time for Goldberg, and he finished out the appearance by pumping up the fans and visiting with family and friends around the ring. He then left the arena just as he entered it to "Gold-berg!" chants.

On other hand Brock Lesnar is going to appear on next Monday night Raw and then after Goldberg and Lesnar both are scheduled to come together on 14th November, the last Raw before the Survivor Series.

The only thing left now is for the match to be scheduled and the stipulation if they had. It was not announced anything that Goldberg and Lesnar going head-to-head in the main event of Survivor Series on November 20 but they will come face to face on November 14th and it will be decided on that day.

Bill Goldberg Returning to WWE RAW on October 17, 2016

Bill Goldberg will be making his return to WWE tonight on Monday Night Raw for his first appearance on WWE television in over 12 years. He’ll be addressing Paul Heyman and the expectation is that Goldberg vs. Lesnar will be announced for WWE Survivor Series.

Last Week when Paul Heyman Challenged Goldberg to fight with Brock Lesnar at any place ,any time and even he also told that "In Suplex City , you are not a Goldberg, you're NEXT". Since after that without wasting any time Goldberg tweeted, he will be on WWE Raw next week to respond to the challenge:
Brock Lesnar is not expected to be on Raw tonight, but he will be returning to WWE TV next week in Minneapolis. Goldberg and Lesnar won’t be in the same ring together until the November 14 edition of Raw from Buffalo. Obviously, WWE is scheduling the feud very carefully, which includes giving Goldberg the spotlight on Raw tonight for his historic return.

WWE fans were assuming that Goldberg vs. Lesnar would take place next year’s Wrestlemania in Orlando, but it will on WWE Survivor Series next month instead. Goldberg’s return was announced last week, so the WWE Universe has had a full week to speculate about what WWE will do tonight on Raw. It has been rumored that Goldberg could be turning heel before WWE Survivor Series.

WWE’s plans for tonight’s Raw are for Goldberg to lay down the challenge to Lesnar for a match at WWE Survivor Series, which could be accepted by Paul Heyman on the spot. Brock Lesnar will returning on following Monday night RAW in Minneapolis. Goldberg and Brock Lesnar both will come face to face on November 14 edition of Monday Night Raw in Buffalo.

Before Bill Goldberg makes his potentially epic return to WWE programming tonight on Raw, it’s clear that WWE has done the work and they have a good plan for the Goldberg vs. Lesnar feud. The WWE Universe will see history tonight on Raw. If the feud with Lesnar goes well, Goldberg could have more matches heading into Wrestlemania 33 next year.
